DAEGU, South Korea—Deagu Metropolitan City announced its successful support for two local radio convergence technology specialists—D-Net Co., Ltd. and AZONETECH Co., Ltd.—at the IFA 2026 Global Markets exhibition in Berlin, Germany, held from September 5 to 7. The initiative is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to help regional enterprises expand into global markets.
Daegu operates the “Radio Playground Daegu” program in close cooperation with the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Korea Radio Promotion Association (RAPA), and Kyungpook National University. The initiative provides local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with end-to-end support, spanning technology development, testing, verification, commercialization, and international market entry.
At the IFA 2026 exhibition, both companies presented their proprietary products and solutions to international buyers. AZONETECH showcased its gait analysis solution powered by 3D sensors and artificial intelligence. The solution analyzes more than 20 gait parameters—including step length, walking speed, gait cycle, joint angles, and center-of-mass dynamics—enabling comprehensive biomechanical evaluations for applications in healthcare, sports, and medical services.
During the three-day event, AZONETECH held 14 business consultations with overseas buyers, amounting to an estimated KRW 450 million in potential purchase value. The company also met with major global corporations, including Miele and Midea, to discuss potential product integration and long-term international market cooperation.
In total, the two participating companies completed 22 business consultations worth an estimated KRW 700 million in potential deals, establishing a strong foundation for future supply contracts, technological collaboration, and expanded global reach.
